Our first ever brief in my design course was: "Shlock Opera". We had to design costumes - using the guidelines given - for another person in our group... and then to wear them and perform on stage at a theatre. This is the costume I designed using the themes:

- Brown and Gold
- Nazi Germany
- 14th C. 'Black Forest' Fairy tale Germany
- Radiation

Mm... all very entertaining, neh? Everything (except for the lining of the coat and the sleeves - done by my gorgeous mother) was sewn by me! There's also a doll wearing a gas mask that goes with this - but I didn't want to upload two photos of... the same... thing. Yeah.

I think that's probably one of the most inventive things you could have come up with given those guidelines.

Mm... pretty much. It was originally going to have more of a train, but the poor girl could barely walk in it (way too heavy and way too hot).

Amazing. I love the whole concept, the way it was executed and the overall playful nature of the design. You'd no doubt make a great costume designer.

I'll take:

1. General Zod jumpsuit
2. Crotchless spiderman outfit for horizontal shenanigans
3. Giant teddy bear outfit dripping with blood and bits of victim.
:icondaemontreu:
You would like those, would you? Well:

1. How much will you pay me?
2. How much will you pay me?
3. How much will you pay me?

S'all about the money. :giggle:

That is... wow. I can't even begin to imagine how you'd start to make something like that! Brilliant designing (and pretty cool subjects to start with!)

*bows to your talent*

Heh, actually it's a pretty easy thing to make! It's basically an overcoat pattern with different sleeves, and a couple of extra panels. The rest is just really... well, window dressing, I guess. ;)
:iconsiyamau:
It's a very impressive effect, then!
